OPTIONAL: High Andes - from downtown /FD Shared - Spanish/English-speaking Guide
Visiting, walking and enjoying the immensity of the mountain is what is proposed on the road, highlighted by its rich landscape. We will drive south from the city of Mendoza to take National Route 7 that will take us through the High Mountain road. We will pass through areas of extraordinary beauty in the area of Cacheuta, Villa de Potrerillos and Uspallata Valley. We will visit the historic Picheuta Bridge. We will pass by Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas. Then arrive to Los Penitentes ski resort and soon to Puente del Inca with its fascinating geological formation. Visit the Aconcagua Provincial Park to get an unbeatable view of Mount Aconcagua. Continue to Las Cuevas, the last town in Argentina. Return to Mendoza by the same route. Christ the Redeemer can only be visited from December to February.
